For the 12th edition of ART CITY Bologna - a network of exhibitions, events and initiatives promoted by the city of Bologna in the context of Arte Fiera - Maurizio Nobile Gallery will be hosting the exhibition Natura morta. Joan Crous and Andrea Federici in dialogue with Morandi.
In this special exhibition, two contemporary artists, the painter Andrea Federici and the glass sculptor Joan Crous, will be paying tribute to the great master of twentieth-century Italian art, and in particular to the poetics of his still lifes, based on silence and the uneasy mystery that lies behind apparent reality. It is precisely these two aspects that form the context of the exhibition Still Life, where the works of Federici and Crous take up the lesson of the Bolognese master in their own way, helping to underline its great topicality.
