Following the successful exhibition dedicated to Ettore Fico and his landscapes, Carte d'artista, from the 17th to the 20th century is the exhibition with which the gallery will take leave before the summer break.
An event that gathers together a selection of more than thirty drawings by different authors from the 17th to the 20th century. An event that - once again - helps to give collectors and art lovers a clear and precise idea of the extensive research work that the gallery has been doing in the art market for almost forty years.
A collection of very fine artist's papers on which the gallery has focused its attention, convinced as it is that the search for an attribution, the definition of a provenance, the discovery of an unpublished work are fundamental aspects of its activity.
Organized into four sections (studies of nudes, studies of heads, views and projects, sacred art), the exhibition presents works by Ubaldo Gandolfi, Jacopo Alessandro Calvi known as Il Sordino, Giovanni Stefano Danedi known as Montalvo, Vincenzo Camuccini, Attilio Stefanori, Alfredo Stagliano, Adolfo de Carolis and many others.
