On the occasion of Art City Bologna, the gallery will host in its Bologna premises an exhibition fully focused on the work of Andrea Federici, an artist who has fascinated us with his painting for some time now.

Andrea Federici. Oltre il percettibile is an exhibition that ideally takes its cue from the successful 2023 exhibition - Andrea Federici. Silenti Attese - in which the painter's works were placed in dialogue with Giorgio Morandi's still lifes and Joan Crous' glass sculptures.

The exhibition presents around twenty works by the artist, all created between 2017 and 2023, and focuses on the four main strands of his figurative universe: still lifes, rooms, landscapes and figures.

A ‘silent’ and inanimate universe that nevertheless has the power to put the artist and the viewer in silent dialogue.

Through his paintings, Federici accompanies us towards the profound essence of things, passing and going beyond their pure appearance; the painter, in fact, explores and expresses objects, landscapes or figures as ‘other places’, as symbols, which carry with them emotions and memories.

Through the works presented, we will be taken on a profound journey in search of the deeper meaning of what surrounds us and which calls for a clearer self-awareness.
