A year after its acquisition, the recomposed Marrina sculptural group of the Annunciation finds a permanent setting in the rooms of the Szépművészeti Museum in Budapest.
Steps by steps, thanks to the willingness of Miriam Szőcs - Head of the Museum Sculpture Collection - we were made witnesses of this exciting moment; a reason for us great joy and pride.
Finally the angel finds his beauty again; finally after a long time away the two sculptures are together again; finally the public now can experience their beauty.
Our heartfelt thanks to Miriam Szőcs, to the director László Baán and to the entire team of the Szépművészeti Museum for the kindness and availability.
To celebrate this fine acquisition, the museum has issued a catalogue edited by specialists Giancarlo Gentilini and Gabriele Fattorini, which will be available to purchase online from next January; a preview is given by publishing its cover.
