NEW ACQUISITION OF THE MET
A rare and exceptionally well-preserved fine-sized sheet by the Piedmontese painter Gerolamo Giovenone we presented at the recent edition of the Salon du Dessin has been acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the museum's collections.
Many thanks to Carmen Bambach and the MET staff for this remarkable acquisition which makes us proud of our continuous research work.
