Samantha De Vitis
In 2019, she obtained a three-year degree at the DAMS at the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna, with a thesis on the relationship between text and image in the book market, from the Middle Ages to the present day. She is currently a graduate student in Visual Arts, always at the University of Bologna, with a monographic thesis on Giovanni Andrea Sirani, supervised by Professor Daniele Benati.
She has always been attracted by drawing and graphics, initially directing her interest towards the artists of the Viennese Secession, and then discovering over the years a predilection for medieval art, and especially for the miniature.
In 2018, she started collaborating with Maurizio Nobile, where she took part in the research work for the drafting of catalogues and other publications, but above all she refined her knowledge towards drawing, in which the gallery specialises.
