The event, to which I am delighted to invite you, will focus on an unpublished collection of drawings by the first sculptor and architect at the court of Cosimo III de' Medici, Giovanni Battista Foggini, which I am exhibiting in the Paris gallery on the occasion of the Salon du Dessin.
This recent discovery of the gallery, wich until my acquisition belonged to the princes Pandolfini's, has been the subject of a catalogue edited by the Florentine artist's expert, Kira d'Alburquerque.
Kira d'Alburquerque will present the collection and the catalogue next Wednesday 30 March at 6pm in the Paris gallery.
