SEGNI d'ARTISTA

Masterpieces for a collection

Segni d'artista. Masterpieces for a collection is the show with which we open the new gallery exhibition season.

The show focuses on a series of masterpieces on paper by Italian masters working from the 18th to the 20th century. Among the pieces presented are four rare Giandomenico Tiepolo drawings preparatory to some frescoes executed for the Villa Tiepolo in Zianigo (Mirano), three still lifes by Gino Severini, a Spatial Concept by Lucio Fontana and a rare selection of works by Giorgio Morandi. Another outstanding work on display is the Femme nue assise achieved by Amedeo Modigliani in 1914, immediately after the Caryatids series.
